Yetis Hockey Registration

Player Season Registration

Welcome to registration for the Snake River Yetis youth hockey program!

The Snake River Yetis are an AAU Youth Hockey Program. By participating in AAU Hockey, players gain access to a well-organized program and comprehensive player insurance through the Amateur Athletic Union. As the sole AAU hockey program in the State of Idaho, the Snake River Yetis offer advantages not found in other local hockey programs, such as extensive insurance coverage, certified coaching, and flexibility to instruct the full game of hockey to strengthen player growth through top-notch training sessions focused on skill development and teamwork.

Our program is focused on encouraging local competition for youth at all skill levels. The Yetis are the only youth hockey organization in Eastern Idaho who offers the opportunity to participate in a full season of local competition with zero travel commitment. Yetis players participate against local teams in the Snake River Showdown throughout the season to determine who will get to raise the Yeti Cup.

We strive to keep our cost as low as possible to encourage both new and experienced players to participate in this sport.

Winter Program (October through March)

During our Winter Program, our players compete in the Snake River Showdown series which consists of local teams and local competition. There is no travel commitment required for players to compete in this series.

The Yetis also offer several opportunities for our higher skill level players who are willing to make the travel commitment to travel to tournaments and meets with other AAU programs around the region.

Introducing the Yetis Cubs Program for the 2026-2027 Hockey Season

The Yetis Cubs program is a learn to play option geared toward young players who are new to the sport of hockey. Yetis Cubs offers a lower commitment for new players to try the sport and learn fundamental skills. This program will feature a less rigorous practice schedule and limited competition to allow young players to learn the sport without the stress of competitive hockey.

Summer Program (May Through August)

During our Summer Program, our players will hone their skills and may participate in some limited travel competition. This program is geared toward experienced player who want to continue development during the off-season.

Yetis players participating in the Summer Program will practice weekly and potentially travel to several tournaments around the region for competition. Tournament fees are not included in Yetis registration fees and will represent additional cost.
